The Contents of the PAL Persona 2: Innocent Sin Collectors Edition

P2Innocent e1315874080445 The Contents of the PAL Persona 2: Innocent Sin Collectors EditionAs with most Ghostlight releases nowadays, they will be including a Collectors Edition containing a number of goodies that both do not affect the cost of the game too dearly, and at the same time encourage gamers to hold off a little while in purchasing the game from North America to get their hands on the extra goodies included in this pack. So what is in this Collectors Edition? Well, this is what:

1. A Collectors Edition Box
2. UMD Box with double sided inlay.
3. To state the obvious, a UMD Disk copy of the game.
4. An official soundtrack CD - They have not stated if this is the same one that is being made available with North American purchases (10-tracks) or if it will be  much more extensive. Edit: This is the 10-track soundtrack CD.
5. 6 Double Sided Art Cards – Featuring the work of Kazuma Kaneko on the front and Shigenori Soejima on the reverse.
6. An A3 Poster, featuring the box art in “All its Glory”
7. For those who regularily order Collectors Editions from the Ghostlight store, one of their obligatory shirts based on the game – which this time continues the black and red colour theme of the other elements of this collectors edition and has an image of Tatsuya on it (Tatsuya is the official name of the Protagonist of Persona 2: Innocent Sin and his name in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment).

Sound good? Unfortunately they have no release date set as of yet, however hopefully it will be available within the next couple of months at the very latest. The following is a blurb for the game for those who have no heard about this game before:

The story takes place in Sumaru City, Japan, population 1,280,000. Its protagonist attends Seven Sisters High School (“Sevens” for short), whose emblem is considered a status symbol even amongst students from other schools.  Soon, though, a rumor that Sevens’ emblem was actually cursed, and that wearing it would disfigure one’s face, had spread around the city.

Even worse, the rumor came true…

And it was only the beginning of a string of rumors becoming reality, one after another…

Before long, the protagonists discover the power to summon another side of them called “Personas,” which they use to investigate the strange incidents around the city, all while facing their own personal demons as well.  Time is once again on the march…
