Super Smash Land – The Demake of Super Smash Bros now Available!

It has been so many years since the original GameBoy was left redundant that you may not have had the chance to experience everything the console had to offer – namely, the 8-bit graphics component of it. Almost anyone who has owned a Nintendo 64, Gamecube or Wii would have had the chance t0 play Super Smash Bros, where you take the most popular characters from Nintendo console games (and at times – others) and pit them against one another for an all out brawl.

Now… what would happen if the graphic style were to meet the original Super Smash Brothers game? You would get something along the lines of Super Smash Land, a “demake” of the series by Dan Fornace, an artist and programmer. There are limits to what are included – a watered down classic mode with only 4 characters at the start (Two never-before included characters Vaporeon and Megaman are unlockable characters) and some other features simplified – but you do have what could be considered a unique and interesting fan-made game title.

You can download and find more information about the game HERE.
If you would like to see one of their other products, Tower of Heaven is an interesting playthrough (HERE).
