Ai to Seigi to Kibou no Tsunyakan is one of the upcoming Playstation Portable titles being released by Alchemist – the company responsible for the many Umineko no Naku Koro ni PS3 / PSP releases. Now, I am not going to judge anyone who knows the source of this game – however this is going to be an improved version of a mini-game from the company DigitalCute’s loli visual novel series Musumaker (and all good boys and girls will not go looking this title up).

I am not familiar with the basis of why there is a side-scrolling shooter in the middle of a visual novel such as this, however the fact stands that this will be released by Alchemist at a date yet to be determined, however is slated to appear to some degree at the Tokyo Game Show (Or at least things such as collectors shirts and mugs are).

Whilst the original visual novel game apparently only had a couple of levels, this will be a fully fledged game, with many new levels and new characters, difficulty settings and of course – the obligatory fanservice images that this game could not go without. I think it is safe to say that this title will not be released outside of Japan, however despite its original source, it should not contain any R18+ scenes.

Edit: The official website has a Release Date set at the 1st of December 2011.
