In what I would consider a rather surprising announcement, Sentai Filmworks have announced that they have acquired the license to the anime series of Rozen Maiden. They intend on before Christmas, releasing a special Rozen Maiden – The Complete Collection DVD set which will consist of the 12 episodes from Rozen Maiden, 12 episodes from Rozen Maiden: Traumend and for the first time ever, the two part OVA series Rozen Maiden: Ouverture.
Rozen Maiden Ouverture will have a brand new English dub provided by the production studio BangZoom! Entertainment. If all the original English voice cast will return is still not known. Rozen Maiden: Ouverture does not continue the Alice Game currently being held but instead focuses on an earlier period of time where Shinku first met Suigintou.
