The upcoming Playstation 3D TV from Sony, announced at E3 is slated to be one of the cheapest means of getting into the 3D viewing. Coming in at around $500, you will get a 24″ LCD 3D TV, but it also comes with all new Simulview technology which you are able to view two screens depending on the glasses you are wearing, allowing two player multiplayer games to not require shared screen options.
Whilst the Simulview technology is currently limited to just the Playstation 3 console, it is set to also be friendly with PC’s and TV Boxes (With Full HD 3D). The package is also set to include a free pair of 3D Glasses with an extra pair coming in at around $69 with rechargeable batteries. Whilst some may consider the screen smaller then their normal lounge room television, the size and price makes it a perfect addition to a gaming room, bedroom or study.
The release for this television is the 2nd of November for Japan, with releases in other locations around the world at a later date.
