I was a follower of the Phantasy Star Universe series over both the PC and XBox360 versions of the game and its sequel, and whilst I never really had a chance to experience the online mode, I would say that the gameplay is more then appropriate for an add-on online game, even if you did have to pay for it per month. Phantasy Star Online 2 however goes back to the games roots and focuses primarily on the online content. This trailer shows off that they are not limiting mission environments to the same set of landscapes and a corridor which should prove rewarding to long time players.
The game is slated for release on the PC late-2011/2012.
