It’s Not Much, But A Few Preview Images of Corpse Party!

With Corpse Party only just being announced, XSEED Games have not shared many screenshots at all, however they are sufficient in showing off the main mechanics of the game.

First of all, the game itself isn’t a visual masterpiece itself, relying on character sprites and environments such as the ones above. Judging from the style of gameplay they are after, it does however seem to be the most appropriate choice of visual technique and I am sure it will still allow the greatest creepiness whilst wandering around the school. The character portraits look nice however.

As this game is based on sprite-art and character portraits, they will be including a number of CG artwork such as the one above which will help set the mood alongside the dialogue and voice acting. In terms of voice acting, I am curious to if they will be keeping the Japanese dub or producing an English dub alongside it.

and finally they have included some creepy pictures, to remind you that this is not a game about happier times, but a fight for survival in the cursed school.

I will have more on this game as it becomes available.
