The one title I felt caught my attention the most during the recent Nintendo 3DS Press Conference was the unveiling of upcoming Square Enix title Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. It is claimed to be a traditional RPG that makes use of the 3DS’s augmented reality functions, how this will be incorporated has yet to be determined. According to andriasang, those of you who are fortunate enough to have your 3DS’s with you and are at the Tokyo Game Show will be able to visit the Square Enix booth and scan giant AR cards which allow you to see life-sized models of the characters, as well as pick up a special AR Card.

The screenshots are not all that is available, two websites have been released for the title – the first one being HERE and is part of the Nintendo Conference website whilst the other website is HERE which is Square Enix’s official teaser website that comes with trailers and so forth. This game is expected to be released next year and as of yet, there is no distribution announcement outside of Japan.
