Bakemonogatari to return in 2012 as Nisemonogatari

Nisio Isin’s light novel series Nisemonogatari, one of the many novel sets of the overall Bakemonogatari series has been slated for airing as an anime in January 2012. It is slated to be a project between Kodansha, Aniplex and one of my personal favourite studios, SHAFT. I am not that familiar with the storyline of Nisemonogatari in comparison to the previous anime series, but here is a description for Bakamonogatari to help you get the picture of this style of storyline [Source: AnimeNewsNetwork]:

Although there are still traces of the brief period he became a vampire, third year high school student Koyomi Araragi is human again. He happens upon others with their own supernatural problems and finds that he can empathize. Koyomi becomes involved in their lives, seeking to help them and occasionally asking for advice from Meme Oshino, the homeless man who helped him become human again.
