I am aware that the last few weeks have been a bit slower on reviews then usual, due to a few events that have caused a drain on my time, but will hopefully be a bit more lenient this week, due to the number of events and titles I have planned. Unfortunately I don’t have the man power of a dozen or so writers, but I think I do a good job regardless. First up I suppose I should describe what I have planned for reviews.
From Nippon Ichi Software America I have both CladunX2 on the Playstation Portable and Disgaea 4 on the Playstation 3 to review, and whilst the CladunX2 review is almost ready to be finalized and published, my copy of Disgaea 4 was just slightly delayed, meaning that whilst I have it in my hands, I would like to tinker with the gameplay a bit more so I can guarantee you the best possible article for the game – hopefully late this week at the latest. Nothing else much in game releases this week, however the next few weeks will get much busier, with new releases such as Atelier Totori from NIS America, two new games from Natsume, Persona 2: Innocent Sin from ATLUS USA, Dark Souls from Namco Bandai Partners and many others that I shall have to offer you all!
In terms of anime reviews, it is more or less finding the time to write the reviews. Whilst High School of the Dead should be my next review and the last one from the August season of anime from Madman Entertainment, I also have a copy of Tower of Druaga from Siren Visual which should be reviewed at some point. Madman Entertainment releases for September will be out on the 14th and as with the games, a number of titles I shall bring you reviews for including K-ON! Volume 2, Rideback, Spice and Wolf Season 2 and perhaps even Tsubasa Chronicles Complete Memories. Siren Visual releases are due out the week after and include Angel Beats and Dennou Coil – two highly sought out titles!
In terms of Visual Novels, I still have several titles from both MangaGamer and JAST USA that I have to review, and whilst I have delayed them for a few weeks, I believe that is long enough to wait to get into gear and review them, even if I did just last week…ish make a headstart into the MangaGamer pile and release a review of We Love Master!.
Also this week we have the Tokyo Game Show running from the 15th to 18th and with them, new announcements from all three console developers as well as many publishers, and I intend on bringing all that news right to you!, alongside all the non-TGS announcements.
