What do you get when you have a lead character who spend his childhood crossdressing, an older girl who is half his height and a girl who detests men…. and they all work in a family restaurant? You get Working!!, or as it was called in the Nippon Ichi Software America release “Wagnaria!!” (Due to some titling issue – not modifying the storyline or anything). When I did a review of the first 13 episodes released to the English market – I found it as a very enjoyable series that was worthy of the B+ grade it received. The storyline however felt lacking in development for a few of the characters, but that should all change with the second season of the series Working’!! due out in Japan this October. There is currently no word on if there will be an English release of this series, however given that there was a Standard Release of Season One recently by Nippon Ichi Software America (Over just the usual Premium ones that are currently available for most seasons), I would say that there is a good chance we will be seeing this at some point.
