Just a quick memo for those who are interested. Originally I understand some people were apprehensive when Siren Visual only announced a DVD release for Angel Beats instead of both a DVD and Blu-ray release. This would have made it difficult to watch the US Blu-ray version due to stricter region encoding on such devices.
However, Siren Visual have now announced that they will be doing a Blu-ray release of Angel Beats this November – with the DVD release still due out this coming September.
Now just to ask the question… would you wait two more months to watch it in Blu-ray or go straight for the DVD version and enjoy all that this latest KEY anime series has to offer?
