Credits to Impress (GAME Watch)
During the Akihabara Denkigai Festival today, Nippon Ichi Software CEO Sohei Niikawa took stage and hinted some information about their upcoming action RPG which is reportedly being undertaken by the same team responsible for the set of Prinny PSP games. Whilst they have not announced an intended console (Knowing them, either PS Vita or PS3), they have announced that it will have full polygon visuals (Yay or Nay depending on the person) and they also shared a piece of concept art which can be seen above. Evidently, they don’t seem to be including a Prinny as the main character – however still seem to retain an Etna-esque main character going by the devious grin and eyes on the blonde haired witch in the image. The game is supposedly going to be announced formally this September with a release date into next year.
This is but one of four upcoming titles from a Dengeki Playstation interview – the other three (not including Disgaea 3 Return) are:
- A new game from the Disgaea team which supposedly is taking into account their experience with Disgaea 4 and the connectivity knowledge from the game.
- A new game from the creators of Cladun – System Plasma
- For Japan, a release of a 3DS game that is popular over here…. which all signs are pointing to Cave Story 3D.
