To set the record straight, the artwork to the left of this text has nothing to do with Persona 5, instead it was a piece of artwork that a few months back, was rumored to be a piece of artwork for the game but consensus says it isn’t.
The final big piece of Persona information today is information on Persona 5 itself, the highly demanded “next part” of the series that fans have had to wait for whilst seeing Playstation Portable versions of Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 3 come out with no news. Unfortunately, there is nothing in terms of visuals but instead just tiny tidbits of information I am sure all readers will appreciate.
Preparations for the game are generally complete and they have their normal team assembled to start developing the game - Katsura Hashino as the Director, Shigenori Soejima as the Character Designer, and Shouji Meguro as the Composer (Yay!).
That is it folks, no news on the plot, console or anything. I think it is safe to assume that the game will be on the Playstation 3 – considering the Persona series has never left Sony and given they are doing upcoming Playstation related releases (See Updates 1-2). I am still curious if they will choose to do a multiplat, considering that for the sales of Catherine in Japan, there was a significant difference between the PS3 version (141,826) and the XBox360 version (21,936).
