Sure you might have guessed that there was going to be a Playstation Vita release of Persona 4 and sure you might have been able to guess the third and final Persona announcement, but I bet this second one will surprise you. It seems that in Japan, when a series gets big – they decide that they want to see the characters fight it out in one epic duel. This is what they are doing to Persona 4.
Persona 4: Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, is a title being worked on by Arc System Works, specifically the same team that have been developing the Blazblue series. Not much in terms of specifications have been provided about this game, but they have announced that the following characters are confirmed playable: The Protagonist, Chie, Yosuke and Aigis, however as this is a game surrounding the Persona series, both Persona 3 and 4 characters are slated to appear and is highly probable that all Persona users will return in this game. Wouldn’t object some of the secondary characters appearing as well (Who wants to see Nanako beat the crap out of Adachi?)
This game takes place two months after the events of Persona 4 and Teddie has decided to host a battle tournament…. you know, the usual stuff friends do *Coff*. This game is due out in Arcades in Spring 2012 and then will see a Playstation 3 and XBox360 release in Summer 2012 in Japan.
