For those who have not heard of Nicalis before, it is the company responsible for a number of titles such as La-Mulana, Cave Story and Night Sky. They are also working with Nippon Ichi Software America to release Cave Story 3D on the 3DS this coming November in North America (and hopefully other regions soon after). Until now they have not had a strong online presence until now – having unveiled their new 8-bit theme website. I am honestly a fan of 8-bit gaming, having spent the early years of my youth playing these games – and it is good to see that it is still in fashion. The website’s music perhaps gets a bit on your ears after a while – but the design is good and the content is there with some intractability. You can check out the website HERE.
