Ni No Kuni due for Release on Playstation 3 on November 17 in Japan

You may have heard of the Ni No Kuni game series by Level-5 in partnership with Studio Ghibli before. The DS version of this game was released earlier in the year and was infamous for having what could be deemed the largest instruction manual ever designed – that was a hard-cover full-coloured reference guide/manual that was essential to complete the game.

This time around it is unsure if something like this is required/will be included, however the Playstation 3 game of Ni no Kuni: Queen of the Holy White Ash has recieved an official release date of the 17th of November in Japan, with unfortunately no release date of either version outside of there. As you can see, the game uses a rather bright colour palette with cel-shaded graphics and are of a quality I would expect for Studio Ghibli in one of the first console games they have contributed to. The storyline is set to be similar to that of the DS version, only with many additions to keep the game fresh for those who had played it prior, and using up the larger storage capacity on the Blu-ray discs.
