I actually had no idea a game like this existed until a friend messaged me with the trailer this morning. The concept of using Zombies as the main antagonist is slowly dying down I think – With several games featuring them predominantly – Dead Rising…. Yakuza: Of The End…. The Last Guy (A really fun game), I would have thought they would have tried everything by now for the genre (Still waiting for a Twilight sequel with a Zombie added to the cast)…. but I was wrong.
Lollipop Chainsaw is a game being released by Grasshopper Manufacture for the Playstation 3 and XBox360 consoles next year, and focuses on a high school cheerleader who just so happens to be a fighter of zombies in her Californian High School. The trailer leaves me with some doubts about how this game will turn out – but it also does look like it could be a lot of fun…. depending on how it is overall implemented. I suppose once Gameplay Trailers appear, all will be revealed.
