I enjoyed Dead Rising 2, it was most probably the game that got me into the whole zombie-survival game genre and it allowed a greater deal of customization of weapons – even if I found myself stocking myself up with the same basic weapon of Spiked Bat was my weapon of choice along with the sword you could pick up from the Casino next to the bunker. I was however, not able to get into the first game which felt more like a game with crappy AI and enemies who were there purposefully to torture a new player and I didn’t even get past the first day.
However, Frank West, hero of Dead Rising 1 seems to have been a bit pissed off that Chuck Greene managed to make it through the second shopping mall Zombie outbreak, and has imagined a world where Chuck Greene was never there during the course of the game, instead he was the main character. Alongside changes in character alliances and events, Frank West will have access to new custom “duct tape” weapons. Two of these have been previewed, the first pictured above is the Laser Eye Beam weapon whilst the one after the jump is the “Bouncy Beauty” weapon.
