Unfortunately, I was not as captivated by Final Fantasy XIII’s storyline or gameplay. I won’t deny that the graphics were visually appealing in every aspect – but I thought that the storyline didn’t stand out like other Square Enix titles and the “Spam Auto Attack” Battle System could have been replaced by say – a more Turn Based system or even like what was originally teased back when the game was first announced.
However, it seemed to sell well enough, so Square Enix is coming out with Final Fantasy XIII-2…. and this time without three girls cosplaying as different classes and zooming around on airships…. I hope. I will save my opinions until I can see more on this game, but for now, here are some screenshots for the game showing off some of the new playable characters / battle system and storyline elements…
