Those who have previously played the DS version of the game will most probably be disappointed by this trailer – as it doesn’t show anything new in terms of the systems, however for new people to the game – you might be interested in them. Whilst other Shin Megami Tensei games have a number of means to acquiring new demons from interacting with them to choosing from a selection of cards…. Devil Survivor is a bit different in that after the first battle – you are not longer able to personally recruit demons. Instead, you have to bid Macca (Currency from battles) to unlock the demons as shown in the trailer above. Fusion remains relatively the same in every SMT game where you merge two demons together to create a more powerful demon with shared skills.
Both of these systems are essential to your survival in the game, so better off learning about them earlier. This game is due out on the 23rd of August this year, with no announcement about a release anywhere else in the world as of yet.
