Dark Souls Receives New Gamescom Trailer

Demons Souls holds the title of being my first ever import game – all the way back in the day before ATLUS USA had even acquired the distribution rights for a US release (I had the English Asian Version). The game was good because of the fact that it was non-stop challenge and surprises and that it didn’t try and go overboard to appeal to everyone but kept the environment and character designs suitable to the setting but with no-frills to it, whilst the music was lighter but creepier music. Looking at the above trailer, I do like what I see – however at the same time it also makes me apprehensive that because the first one was in my opinion at least, a surprise success – that actually developing a second game might take things too far and ruin the experience that Demons Souls delivered to so many gamers. I will leave it up to you to decide what you think of the video, however at least it seems like they have made multiplayer a bit easier to join and that it shall be at least as hard as the first game.

This game will be available in early-mid October for English / Other Regions whilst Japan receive the game first on the 15th of September
