This is a trailer released at Gamescom 2011 for a game titled AMY. This game is slated for release in September and is being developed by the company Vector Cell and publised by the group Lexis Numerique. The game description is as follows:
AMY is a survival horror/action adventure game, where players must protect, and escort the strange 8-year-old autistic title character as they try to get her out of a city overrun with wild creatures and enemies. The story follows Amy and Lana (who players control), a woman who is trying to protect and save her in the disease-ridden town. They must work together to fight or flee from the aberrations, demons, and the military, in the hope of saving not only each other, but also the future of humanity itself.
Survival Horror games have been around for as long as I can remember, but it is actually hard to come by a solid performing one that is downloadable only. I think this game has a good chance of being one of those strong performing titles that mix not only the psychological horror aspects but having more in terms of gameplay then running whilst trying to scare the gamer. After all, if you are responsible for protecting an 8 year old girl through a monstrous city, I am sure there will be some degree of difficulty to it.
This game is slated for release in September for the Playstation Network, XBox Live and PC Gaming Consoles.
