Whilst I have generally had a solid opinion on the other series that I have written up for this month, it is hard to place exactly where I stand in this series. Whilst it most probably is at the better side of the design scale for this genre, the characters just seem like your normal group of girls doing the normal school-based slice-of-life routine with some occasional yuri to justify having the word Yuri in the title (Okay, there may be another reason for it, I don’t know). Fortunately, Crunchyroll seems to have picked up this series alongside Kamisama Dolls and Natsume’s Book of Friends 3, so I might take a look at this series a little way down the track to see if it ends up a generic watch or an enjoyable watch.
On the topic of this site, Animeblogger is having periodical maintenance during the week so this site may go down momentarily – althrough hopefully it is nothing too long if at all. Also, these articles are not supposed to be full reviews, but more to deliver brief information to those who want to watch the series through simulcast etc and make decisions for themselves. I will do full reviews if they are released on DVD/Blu-ray or are appropriately simulcast.
Afterthought
From what I can tell, whilst there is some degree of what you would call “fanservice”, this series seems more dedicated to placing the characters in cutesy situations more then anything…
