After seemingly being successful releasing the PS3 version of the first four Umineko no Naku Koro ni arcs, it seems like alongside the XBox 360 fighting game and the PSP remakes of the PS3 remake of the PC visual novel, Alchemist has just announced that they will be releasing Umineko No Naku Koro ni Chiru – the final four episodes of the successful murder/mystery/supernatural visual novel series at some point this year. For those who have not read much about the Chiru arcs, they are less on actual murders and more on the mystery. This also means more focus on the witches then the Ushiromiya Family as a whole, and incomplete murder stories to go with it, however owning the PC Visual Novel series myself, they are some very interesting arcs.
Of course, for us in English speaking countries – there is just a slight problem….. we still don’t have a publisher for the first part in the series let alone Chiru. So I ask, will a willing publisher please step forward?
