Sam is Attending Supanova Brisbane this Year!

I have been torn between my academic timetable and Supanova, however after a long and heavy throught, I have decided that I shall be attending, and doing a summary of the event, for Saturday, and possibly Sunday of the event. For those who do not know what Supanova is:

Supanova Pop Culture Expo is where the adoring public comes face to face with Supa-Star celebrities and the creative talent that inspire their imaginary worlds under one big roof.

Gathered from the wonderful worlds of science-fiction, pulp TV/movies, toys, console gaming, trading cards, animation/cartoons, fantasy, comic books, entertainment technology, books, internet sites and fan-clubs, the result is an amazing celebration in an atmosphere tailor made for expessing your inner geek and where getting into cosplay (cos-tume role-play) is the obvious thing to do!

I will not be attending all the events, but I will be attending the ones that are anime, manga, gaming or otaku oriented. Some of the events I am almost certain to attend are:

  • The announcements of new titles from both Madman and Siren Visual
  • The Madman Cosplay Championship (Not taking part of course…..)
  • Anime Screenings
  • Anime Dubbing Sessions
  • Karaoke
  • Laser Tag (If it is being offered at Brisbane)
  • I intend on purchasing and most probably reviewing some Aussie made otaku products…
  • Heck, walk around and just review random stuff.

So yes, I hope you look forward to my articles!

In other news, Siren Visuals releases for this month have been delayed by a few days, but should be in store by the end of the week. That being said, my review samples are not in yet either, but they will be reviewed when possible. My samples from Madman have just arrived and will be reviewed very very soon!

Also, I just acquired Yakuza 4 and Ar Tonelico Qoga yesterday, and whilst I am not able to review Yakuza 4 by the release date in Australia, which is… due out on the 24th, I do intend on reviewing Ar Tonelico by the Australian release date of the 31st March.
