Nippon Ichi Software America has just announced that they would be bringing the latest Compile Heart game, Super Dimensional Game Neptune into english speaking hands under the new name Hyperdimension Neptunia. Currently all that is out is that they are releasing the game and a few Japanese assets however over the coming months we have been guaranteed plenty of english screenshots, trailers and under-boob pictures (Riiiight-ie-oh then). I don’t believe a formal release date has been set but it is a game that looks promising. The storyline is essentially you are Neptune, a goddess of your own world and alongside your friends IF (Idea Factory) and Compa (Compile Heart) you go off on an adventure to defeat the evil Gamindustri (Based off those DS Mod-chip things, would have rather a name with the word Edge in it, but that would be a tutorial boss right =P?). Along your way you meet Nippon-chan (Nippon Ichi Software) and Gust-chan (GUST) as well as three other goddesses (Based off the Playstation, XBox and Wii). So basically, game companies and consoles converted into human forms with ultimate transformation powers which allow you to attack with games. My only question is if the Nippon-chan and Gust-chan characters, which were DLC in the Japanese version will be free when you get the game, after all, NISA is localizing it and it would be better to play as the own companies personafication instead of having to pay for it….
