As many of you would know by now, Disgaea 4 has been officially announced for release next year, with an almost simultaneous announcement by Nippon Ichi Software America that they will be releasing shortly after, and information is slowly being released. Remember the Item World invasion vehicles from Disgaea 3? Well they are coming back and this time allowing seemingly more customisation about character placements etc and seemingly allowing you to traverse into other players games!
Seemingly following on from another Nippon Ichi title called “Criminal Girls” (Which I doubt we will be seeing an english release of), there is a punishment system, where you can seemingly force characters to submit and behave using a lovely combination of “bondage”, “massages” and other things that I shall leave up to your imagination. The purpose of this is unknown to me, but if this is a means of recruiting characters from the battlefield over to your party…. well it would be a unique means of doing it…..
I guess this confirms that Dark Hero Axel will be returning in this game….. Never really used him as a main character in any game he has been in, so doesn’t really matter to me….. Just as long as we still have Asagi trying to take over the game.
Enlarged Nekomata = Monster fusion system? Never really used monster characters except to magichange as weapons, so would be good to see a better use for them.
Some of the guest artwork for the stage clear screens. Same interface they have been using since the original Disgaea, but I do like that artwork….. looks like it is a Prinny Waaaambulance for some reason…. not even sure if it is an ambulance through. Either way, always liked their guest artworks.
