I wake up this morning to find out that a remake of Umineko no Naku Koro ni has been announced on the PlayStation 3 and is due out in December. This is not what I was expecting so soon as I thought they would have waited for the series to finish and then do it, similar to what they did with Higurashi, but I am still very pleased with them announcing it. It shall cover arcs 1 to 4 of the original sound novel and word going around is that they will use the same music artists as sound novels, so I assume some or all of the popular tracks shall be returning!
