Just a quick note all, the Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta signups have started, however all the sites seem to be down due to the overload. No idea what is going on but yours truly managed to get one, however account management is also down so no luck there.
The signup website is http://entry.ffxiv.com however don’t be expecting to get a key soon until either:
a) Square Enix updates their servers to support the load or
b) People just give up for now.
