Disgaea 4 Announcement + possible Demons Souls Sequel

Two pieces of good news have recently come out of this years Tokyo Game Show. The first would have to be the announcement of Disgaea 4 by Nippon Ichi Software, which as you can see in the above video, has a greatly enhanced graphics system alongside several new features, which I expect will all be announced in due time. However, an even better thing was that I got a message in my inbox this morning telling me that NISA has announced that they will be releasing the game during Summer 2011 in North America. The press release goes as follows:

Disgaea4 is a sequel to Disgaea, a hardcore, turn-based, strategy RPG popular on the PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®2. In Disgaea, character units have a limit to their movement and attack ranges, based on level and weapons equipped. There are other special game factors that let you take advantage of the 3D battle map, many of which are unique to Disgaea. As the 4th installment in the series Disgaea4 adopts an all new graphic engine
with a much more emphasis on a anime style graphics and also adopts many new game system for an exciting battle adventure.

Also exciting the announcement of Project Dark for the PS3, which is currently shaping up to be an expected sequel to the very successful game Demons Souls which has been released in several regions over the last year or two by different companies. If this is the case, then I look forward to watching my character die many more times in the next game whilst pulling out my own hair.
