It has been ages since I have posted anything on Modnation Racers, which I have gotten into the last week. The game had a few bugs, which some people would have considered gamebreaking, however as of the 4th August, there has been an update added to the game to make it much more bareable to play, some of these updates include:
Patch 1.02 Changes:
* Load Time Improvements
* Game Room Flow – remove online game room from the ModSpot so the load from a race to the game room is improved. Along with improved load times, this allows players to get in and out of races a lot quicker.
* Load % Increments – Add logic so additional increments are displayed for the % complete on the load screens.
* Career Difficulty – Added a casual difficulty setting in the options screen.
* Change 3 Win Conditions – Change the win conditions for the following events which are proving to be extremely difficult to complete:
o Devastator takedown on Wild Run.
o Devastator takedown on Modobahn.
o Sideswipe 3 opponents on the cliff side on Fracture
* XP Series Invites / Joins – Add functionality to support XP Race & Series Invites and Joins.
* Tin Bucket Unlock Fix – this is an item that could not be unlocked so we’re just going to make it available by default.
* Fix for the Hot Lap Cheat – fixed a bug that allowed players to cut the track and post unbeatable times in Hot Lap.
* Previously the collector card would only show 1 logical page of creations (24 characters, 12 karts, 12 tracks) for a given player’s collector card. All of the player’s creations should now be listed in their entirety.
* Server Stability – many server updates have been deployed to address some of the intermittent disconnects that players are experiencing.
