Zettai Hero Project: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman! – English Screenshots

Be prepared for a new Nippon Ichi grindfest with an insanity level like you have never seen! From the creators of other best selling grindfest RPG Disgaea, they have unveiled Zettai Hero Project, a game where they implement concepts of Disgaea and take them away from the tactical environment and into a more action oriented game with the same Disgaea charm. A few days ago, Nippon Ichi released some english images to go with their new trailer. After the jump, I have placed some of the best ones into a little gallery for you all to view!

They also released a trailer which shows how funny the storyline should be and their love of loser flags! Personally, I hope that the guy that is doing the trailer gets some sort of appearance in the game since I love his enthusiasm in doing this trailer!

This game shows that the PSP is far from dead and whilst not having the quantity of games that the Nintendo DS does, it definitely does have the quality! So…. does anyone have any thoughts on this game?

Wow, that’s pretty nuts. My name is Sam, I live in Australia, and I turn 18 this year. Surprise from the coincidence between the bio of both me and the maker of this page aside, This game looks pretty damn epic.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call myself a Nippon Ichi fanatic, but I did buy a PS3 just for Disgaea 3, and it was well worth it. I am looking forward to this game with all knowledge that I will probably never beat it in my lifetime. (Here goes hopes to Baal being in it.) The Disgaea saga will always be my fav series. knowing how many games Asagi was in, I would be pretty upset if she didn’t cameo in this one.

I like how the main character looks, alot cooler and way more relatable than Laharl or Zetta. If this game has a Sub-party member system, I will be sooo happy. But to think they’re doing NIS anime cameo’s instead of video-games this time? Taiga from Torudora would be ok, but it sounds kind of wierd. I guess all I can do is wait and see how it is. Damn I’m excited.

Haha, unfortunately I recently hit 19 so I am a bit older than my bio states (Keep meaning to update it). Anyway it is really good to see more Nippon Ichi fans in Australia! Unfortunately it is hard for us since Nippon Ichi stuff isnt usually released over here and I basically just randomly come across their titles in stores, alongside most RPG’s.

This game will hopefully live up to our expectations and the high expectations set by Disgaea…. it seems different enough to not be defined as Disgaea with a new setting, so fingers crossed. I heard about the anime cameos, cant remember much about them but I dont believe they are omitting any in comparison to the Japanese version and there should be Taiga in it, alongside others like Shana and Horo just to name a few.

Just got to hope for an Aussie release, else I suppose it is a definite import!

Unfortunately, the only date I have at the moment is sometime in October. Will post on the blog if I find out anything about the date through. Definitely looks promising.
