In Disgaea Infinite, players will use “time traveling” and “possession” to solve
mysteries. The game initially begins by traveling back in time. You will then
possess other characters to gather info/clues. By possessing the characters, you
can read their minds and see through their eyes. Some characters might be
thinking something completely different as they talk to others. By possessing
different characters, you will gradually find out who the true culprit is.
The first Nippon Ichi Visual Novel has just been released in the US. This utilizes a mix between a visual novel system and the disgaea battle system. You will play as a prinny whose soul is able to attach to people and control them, leading you to try and find out the individual who is trying to assassinate Prince Laharl. However, with a castle full of people who would want to murder him, it is going to take all the investigative and possessive skills you have to find out the culprit, lest you end up like many prinny’s before you….. punished brutally!
This game is not purchasable in Australia, however you can import a copy in from sites like Rosenqueen and Play-Asia. Not sure about region locking but I don’t believe there is any region lock in place for PSP titles.
