The one about the Windows 7 Update…..

Well lets just say I updated my PC from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Professional. Now lets see what isnt working….

My TV Tuner is down, thus I cannot watch TV
My Sound Card isnt functioning, thus no sound.
My network card isnt functioning, thus I have no internet
My External Hard Drives are down, so all my anime has gone *Poof* for now.
My USB Slots dont like me now, USB connections are very tempermental.

Therefore, it shall take a while to get it back up… so I suppose the blog will be very inactive without internet access at the very least.

Why don’t you try installing a fresh copy of Windows 7?

That’s what I did and everything works.

Actually, it was a clean install. Unfortunately my computer doesnt like it lol

It might be a driver issue as well. Your sound and Ethernet card are not working.

You can download the latest drives from the manufacturer’s website.

I’m still having doubts on your TV tuner. I’m still uncertain if Windows 7 supports it but you can run Windows XP mode if your hardware meets the requirements. That should allow you to install the driver and use it. Then again, you can visit the manufacturer’s website for the driver software.

Yea, I have been working through it the last few days, my network card works fine now, as well as my TV tuner since I was able to force older drivers to work on them (With some luck)

Sound Card is still a bit iffy however I “temporarily borrowed without asking” my brothers USB headphones and they seem to work well. I think my USB problems have to do with my power supply as after I connect so many things everything stops working, tried it today with different combinations of two external hard drives and my ipod, I couldnt get all three to work at the same time but one or two worked fine.

Thinking of getting a review up tonight, just got to get my software back up and running ^_^

My blog is stuck for almost a week now. I’ve been extremely busy now on work. Not to mention, the schedule changes from time to time and I find it hard to find some time writing an article.

Anyway, it’s a good thing that your PC right now is operational.
