Ending Theme: Pastel by Ayumi Murata – I a neutral on this. Everything was basically average in this, except for the artwork which turned out very well done. It is not a song that I would listen too over and over again however I would definately listen to it once in awhile whilst watching the show. Could have had more effect having more animation segments in it.
Summary: I MIGHT post a summary soon, however I am really tired at the moment so I may have to take a few more days to write up summaries, as well as having a better look at the show.
Overall, this episode was of a much better standard then it was last week. While I did enjoy the episode last week, this one has now past the first episode barrier and gone into the territory that most animes in this genre fail at, but instead goes strong.
Graphics: Quality remains the same as last episode however the use of graphics this time was an improvement in comparison to last episode, as they used a wide variety of different costumes, background/new characters as well as well, ears to a great affect. Everything overall was both very kawaii as well as detailed, especially all of the students slowly turning into animals. I also feel I must comment again on the censorship of the episodes, I think that the clay models they use to replace the characters during the ecchi etc scenes were done in the most innovative way I have seen yet.
Music: My opinion on the music hasn’t changed much from last episode, still suits the setting rather well however overall, I still don’t notice it as much as I would have liked to.
Storyline: I still consider Macademi Wasshoi! to have a purpose similar to Disgaea 3, just make complete fun out of school-life. This time, it was rather interesting to see a teacher turn everyone slowly turn into animals and slowly start a war of cosplay. I do feel that that element may have been a deterant from the main storyline however I think it worked out quite well. Besides that, we see several more characters (Althrough not much screentime with them) as well as finally figuring out who the two characters sobbing at the desks in the opening theme are.
Overall:
Graphics: A-
Music: B
Storyline: B+
Ending Theme: B
Personal Opinion: B+
Overall: B+
Before I commit myself to blogging this, I would like to try one more week of this series. However, it seems like a good chance I shall be blogging it. Hopefully the summary will be up soon!
