Anime: Strike Witches

Type: Opening Theme

Song Name: Strike Witches

By: Yoko Ishida

Review: Due to some problems with my file, my media player which I use to take screenshots didn’t seem to like it at all. However, despite this odd flaw, I really liked this opening, not the best, but it still was very good. The animation was very very fast (Which made it very hard to take screencaps) but was very well done and it is obvious that they put a lot of effort to keep people interested in watching the show, rather then thinking that it is only there to appeal to the loli fans. The song was also very nice and the animation was worked around the song so the timing between the two elements were very good.

Anime: Strike Witches

Type: Ending Theme

Song Name: Bukkumaaku A・Heddo

By: Misato Fukuen, Saeko Chiba, Kaori Nazuka, Miyuki Sawashiro, Rie Tanaka, Mie Sonozaki, Sakura Nogawa, Chiwa Saito, Ami Koshimizu, Mai Kadowaki and Erika Nakai (Lots of them eh -.-’)

Review: The animation was okay, much better than most other ending themes but it did aggitate me in a small way how the credits always seemed to cover all the characters who came across the screen instead of in other areas of the screen. Also, it seemed to try a little bit too much to deliver the cuteness factor of the anime. But overall, rather good animation. The song was also okay, something that I would add to my collection, althrough it wasn’t really needed to have every cast member added into the song (Look at the by list above), since not all of the singers had a large roll in it. Still, it was a very good ending theme overall.
