Review: Hopefully all these images will defer all of you from ever even considering watching this show, unless of course you are in to the same episodes that are shown 6 days a week. Moegaku*5 follows the same pattern every day:

  • Opening (Which IMHO, is the only good part in the show)
  • All the live action characters do a pre-recorded dance which is the same everyday before cutting to a customised day announcing.
  • The anime plays which is the same every episode in the week but has one different character in it and a different language word.
  • Afterwards, you learn the same word again in a finalization of the episode as well as a BONUS word!
  • A different child is brought in as the sensei and teaches Hirano Aya the exact same phrases. What is weirder is the kids hats which when a string is pulled, causes the hands on top to clap o_O.
  • They do a skipping rope routine where they say the same #$%$% words all over again!
  • Credits goes with the same routine going on!

Lol, I don’t know why I even watched the first four before I decided to end it. This show is definately suited for younger children and I actually think it would be quite popular at least once a week for them. But for people 8+ or something like that, skip it!

All images were taken from the Chinese (Thursday) episode of Moegaku*5
