Summary: Nodoka is having a dream where she is lying in the enterance hall of the school building and Negi is sitting next to her with his (or her if you must say so) lips edging closer and closer to hers but the dream ends before anything happens. When she wakes up, Negi enters the room but is soon led back out by Asuna. When being led back out, Negi wonders what his vision was of the exact same thing but they had switched places.
The next day, the library exploration club (Nodoka, Yue, Haruna and Konoka) are in the library while Yue manages to find a book that she doesn’t want to get fingerprints over, thus the white gloves. All the while, Nodoka is quiet in deep thought about what was happening. After running into Nodoka in the stairwell, Negi is lying down in the center of it and Shizuna walks up to him carrying a bottle of milk which she does not give to him. (What is with Shizuna, she is in it more than Takamichi who hasn’t been in an episode for weeks) She counsels him then leaves him. Outside, Negi runs into Nodoka and they talk for a bit.
Later on, after pestering Chisame for some information, Haruna and Yue encourage Nodoka to give Negi a present and they come up with a book titled “Magic Star“. Yue and Haruna end up giving Negi the book however they slipped him a diary entry Nodoka made about him. Asuna is behind him and also reads it. In the library, Nodoka and Negi cross paths and they talk about their feelings for each other while Haruna and Yue are in the row of shelves behind and making hand gestures to Nodoka as she talks to him. In the end, Nodoka ends up crying and gives Negi a kiss. Asuna is in the level bellow listening in on their conversation as well.
The next day, Nodoka comes to class with a different hairstyle that everyone thinks is pretty.
Review: After the atrocities of the previous episode, it was good to see that this episode actually involved all the characters. This time it was Nodoka’s turn as well as many Yue and Haruna characters and after seeing them all in this episode, it really demonstrates the excellent cast they chose for the three of them. I must admit, Shizuna is getting annoying now appearing every episode instead of Takamichi who hasn’t appeared for ages.
