On Christmas Eve, there will be a Higurashi special on in Japan to increase the hype of the live action movie being released next year. It will be approximately 30 minutes long and will introduce the live action characters for the movie.
The Cast Members for the group are:

Hojo, Satoko – Erena Ono
Furude, Rika – Aika
Sonozaki, Mion – Rin Asuka
Looks like a very interesting watch and should give me an indication of if I will watch and review the full movie out next year! I should be bringing it to you around Boxing Day (26th December).
