OP Theme: Kokoro no Ato by Kosaka Riyu – The animation was really well done in this however I am not a really big fan of the song, it is good however it is too soft for me.
Summary: A young girl named Mizuki is looking through various beds of flowers in order to find a flower with the name nadesico. She looks at some flowers which do look similar however she soon realizes that it is not the correct type and she looks disappointed. Black spirits are near her however soon disappear. She is able to sense something.
Mizuki is able to sense spirits and is haunted by them while her big sister Shizuru is able to see them and know where they are. Shizuru and their guardians are about to sit down to dinner when they realize that Mizuki still hasn’t arrived back at home yet. Shizuru goes out to look for her and finds her knocked out laying on the ground. She takes her back to their home.
The day later, Mizuki goes after another type of flower and Shizuru follows her to make sure nothing goes wrong as well as offering her help to her. Shizuru soon senses that a spirit is nearby and races after Mizuki who is once again knocked out.
When they get home and are rested, their grandfather talks about a spirit by the name of mikoshi which saps the life out of a person. This does not Mizuki and she once again goes out to find the certain flower and travels further. Mizuki once again is attacked by the spirit and Shizuru comes and fights the spirit by staring at it in a superior way, this destroys the spirit.
When Mizuki recovers, they manage to find the last flower and then head off home. The episode ends here.
ED Theme: Panorama by Hashimoto Mai - This song isn’t as good as the OP theme and still has that soft music style which I dislike. The animation also isnt as good as I would have hoped with this anime although the different flowers used in it was a nice touch.
Review: Unfortunately, I doubt I will be blogging this series at all. While it does have it’s charm with spirits and lots and lots of flowers, it doesn’t seem like it would keep my interests for very long. The graphics and music however were quite good and suited the theme.
