Summary: Everyone is in the hospital checking on their sponser and declare that all his vitals are normal. They are all cosplaying as nurses except for Jenny who is a Eggplant (NASU – Eggplant & Nurse ??). It is all going well until Jenny takes Athena out of the room and Maria starts screaming. Due to this, Jenny grabs the electic chargers (What do you know… I forgot the name of them), and puts them on their sponser. At full power, it causes heart failure in the poor man.
After the Opening Scene, Chako and Delmo are leaving a store with new materials for a costume so she can model it for Kousuke. Delmo jokes that Chako shouldnt be doing this as she is no good at costume design. At that moment, a girl who overheard what she said came up to her and asked if she could go to East Oizumi academy with her.
When they are both tried off, she introduces herself as Tsukasa and that she is not a good cosplayer but an expert sewer, successfully fixing something on Chako’s costume. When she is asked for what school she goes to, she hesitates but is interrupted by the leader of her groups club Ranko. She says that they are only a small club from Shin-Takarazuka Academy who has won many cosplay battles.
Ranko is annoyed with Tsukasa and whacks her to the ground, to the general annoyance of the group. Ranko offers to show them some of her cosplay skills and despite their objections, she shows them two.
- A crying girl which makes Chako feel sorry for her, althrough it annoys Ranko when Chako immitates her voice and all that.
- She also does the Art of Body Transformation which she does Private Tawawa, and just like when Gorou does it, has everyone asking how in the world she did it.
Kousuke enters the room to find Ranko there, he knows her and Chako is now very disappointed. He gives both of the girls pictures of the costumes he took them in (I must admit, I did like the FFX Yuna costume Ranko was wearing). Ranko and Chako have a fight over who Kousuke loves and then Gorou decides to host a Cosplay Battle.
Ranko invites Reika down to the gymnasium and tells her that she has noticed she liked Gorou and that she basically had no interest in him. However, Gorou is also in the room doing the voice over thing which he is once again found in a box.
At the contest, they all offer their assistance to Chako. Elsewhere, their poor sponser is on an IV drip trying to get to the school to stop the battle. However, he collapses on the road and spurts blood everywhere. The Judges for this cosplay battle are:
- Ikebukuro
- Sachiko
- Priest from episode 2
- Mysterious Lady
- Kossuke
There are once four rounds that go as follows:
- Free For All Cosplay – They may choose whatever costume they wish. Chako and Reika are going against Ranko. Chako and Reika choose to cosplay Naga and Lina from Slayers which gets them 92 points while Ranko chose to cosplay Ruri from Nadesico which gets her 100 points.
- Same Costume Round – Both players are given the same style of costume to cosplay in (Althrough with a different theme). The theme is some sort of whip weilding maniac and Ranko with her red one gets her 92 points and Maria with her blue one gets her 100 points.
- Dress Up Round – Each player must take it in turn to dress up Athena in whatever costume they wish. Ranko is first and dresses her up as a Princess from Akazukin Chacha which includes modification of her body which gets her 100 points. Jenny on the other hand gets Athena to wear a mourning dress with no body modification that still gets her 100 points.
- Free for all SUDDEN DEATH Round – This is a battle between Chako and Tsukasa. When they have finished dressing, Chako has appeared with a Princess Serenity costume from Sailor Moon. However, Tsukasa has not left her stall and is scared about going out for her first cosplay. Chako gives her a lecture and then pulls her out wearing a Queen Serenity costume also from Sailor Moon.
I dont believe the winner is announced at all for this game however it continues after the match when everyone is leaving. They all say their goodbyes and depart with their driver back to their academy.

Review: This series had a very strong future ahead of it, however with it being an OVA and left like that, it is rather disappointing now. However what I did see was very good and with a bit of work, it could have been on par with some of my favourite animes such as Pani Poni Dash or Negima. It is sad to see a good series like this go but hopefully one day they might release a full series of this (Or at least another OVA or two).
Can’t complain about anything in this episode at all.
