Summary: We see the three school girls walking home in the late afternoon. When Ink gets home, she sits with her mother watching the news involving a pink haired news reader and some monkey wearing overalls, proving still that this anime is quite weird at nearly every possible moment. Her mother is claiming that when she was smaller, she was a child that constantly was a crybaby.
The next day, they are in english class where Nao is successful in reading an english sentence out of the book:
- The last episode had all of America in tears!
I guess that does have a little bit of usefulness…
Now it is Sumi’s turn, who seems rather angry about it and she still fails to finish one proper sentence, by the way, there is no () in our language. However, the sentence is:
- You can only read Saki Sensei’s comics in ()()()()
She seemed to have a large amount of trouble with the word comics. However both Ink and Sumi get an alert on their mobiles and they both go flying off. Ink gets to the location first to find a young boy drowning in the river. Sumi comes soon after and both her and Ka-kun are also stuck in the rapids. Ink summons bubbles to save the boy and Sumi yet still leaves Ka-kun drowning.
That weird man from the kindergarden appears and stops Ark saving Ka-kun, however in the end, Ark ends up drowning as well so Sumi takes the role of saving them with a fishing line that emerges from her wand. This saves them however as they flee, Ink and Ark are attacked by alice and a giant toy horse. After some… inappropriate motions from Ark, he casts a spell that backfires and traps him and Ink in it plunging them into darkness.
Both of them end up in the past where they run into a child version of Sumi who is still holding onto that cat doll, after awhile, that maid of hers, Ruriko, pops up in her school uniform and takes her away from the “Cosplay weirdo”. After walkinga round a bit and running into her mother, as well as getting another good ol’ scene of Dandy being chased by the police officer still. They run into Sumi again and after remembering how bad Sumi is at english, read a book to her. After she is once again moved by Ruriko, they spot Nao fighting with some other boys.
They talk for a bit about the game he is playing when Ark finally manages to get them out of the past. When they return, it is once again time for Nao’s lesson in which this time they manage to pull off another weird sentence:
- No one needs the Green Member.
The episode ends with both Ink and Ark talking once again. In Moetan corner, another long phrase is mentioned:
- I got mad at the enemy attack so I threw down my portable game system and it broke.
I am sure we have all done that once in our lifetime *Coff* *Coff*
This ending was the same as episode 2 however this time Ink is actually seen in it instead of just her house.
Review: I must admit, I didnt like this episode of Moetan as much as the other ones, I would have liked the fight between Alice and Ink/Ark to go on for just a little bit longer as they could have done something much more interesting with that horse (After all, how many times would you see a giant rocking horse.)
However, it wasnt terrible and it was kind of interesting how that tiny insignificant red balloon played a role in the episode. I do hope next episode is a little bit better through.
