Summary: A weird man is in front of the cosplay club mentioning that they are going on a teamwork/skill building camp. They are more concerned about who he is then where they are going. When the man sees Dolmo, his nose starts bleeding. After stuffing his nose full of tissue, he hands a fairly large guidebook to each of them instructing them about the camp. Gorou introduces him as Coach Kuroba who is their new sponser. They make reference to the ending of the last episode with there being a woman, in which they zoom in on the background.

Coach Kuroba’s blood pressure (or something to do with blood) comes out of his mouth over the girls and he falls to the ground. He is escorted to the hospital by an ambulance outside the room. The next sponser is announced as being Sachiko (Disappointed it wasnt that other woman).

They all go to the clothing store to pick out some clothes for the beach trip. Jenny is busy choosing clothes for Athena and in the end, the rest of the group agree on a swimsuit for her. Reika is busy showing off her swimsuit to the men in the area while Maria and Chako are busy deciding what clothes to get. That is of course, until Jenny and Athena walk into a changing room together causing Maria to go into her angry mode. While most of the girls choose decent swimsuits (and Chako choosing to have her body modified again), Jenny has a dolphin costume on. Kousuke looks on at the group and states that Chako looked nice which caused Ikebukurou to say that it was her crush. They both make plans to meet up at the beach as he is a photographer heading there when they are.

The next day, Chako and Dolmo are really excited about the trip but when they arrive at the beach, they walk straight past it and into a beach cafe where they are all being made to work as waitresses. Also known as, work non-stop while Gorou chats up the ladies. While they are all working in the cafe, Jenny is outside in a statue surrounded by children, which she adores, causing her to have blood running out of her nose.

When they get to the stairs infront of the hotel, Reika is having doubts about it and wonders if it is just another challenge, however it is the hotel and they just need to walk up all the steps. When they get out, they find that it is a temple. They meet the priest in the temple which aims at Sachiko, hugging her, which caused Reika to hit him with a pan which remains for the rest of the episode. Reika tries to escape but the old man has a rope trap set near the enterance and she is hoisted into the air.

The old priest tells everyone about the history of the temple/festival coming up. After the quite boring lecture, everyone gets ready for the training by changing into gym clothes. They take part in three rounds

  1. Speed Sewing: They must sew really fast althrough this round is shortlived as Chako failed to even last a few moments.
  2. Speed Changing: All four of the girls must change into a costume in a short amount of time. While Reika, Maria and Athena manage to change in time, Chako fails to even get changed properly.
  3. Body Transformation: All four girls must transform into real size costumes of Sargent Frog. All four of them fail to do it and Garou demonstrates how to do it to them, in which he actually does it. However, he doesnt properly explain how to do it.

That night, Jenny tries to sneak into Athena’s bed and do… well lets not go there. However, she ends up in Sachiko’s bed which she does… erm… stuff with her. In the hotsprings, Reika is falling victim to Garou’s voice over, which he is once again found out by Jenny’s scream. That morning, Jenny fails to turn up to work due to a bad back and Sachiko is more than glowing. Kousuke appears and offers to take Chako to the festival. The night before the festival, all the girls have assembled and offers to help Chako with her date.

The day of the festival, Chako goes on her date, being followed by Reika and the Priest with techniques such as hints on boards, romantic music and a bed in the forest, which Chako screams at. After thinking she is weird saying there is a bed in the forest, he jokes abou finding a crane in the forest, which Jenny has been made to do. Later on, she tries to kiss him but fails.

At the festival, Athena and Maria are taking on the role as Shrine Maidens and they must throw out their fans. Chako is told that whoever catches them gets their true love. So she attempts to catch it with Dolmo taking the form as a glove. When they throw it, Chako doesnt manage to catch either and Garou catches them, which earns him a whacking by Reika.

The episode ends around here.

Review: This episode was once again interesting. It is interesting to pick out animes that the costumes come from and try and find the ones that are unknown. I only knew a few of the costumes such as “Steel Angel Kurumi” and “Magical Nyan Nyan Taruto”. It was a good episode but it is a shame it only goes for 3 episodes. Look forward to next episodes review!
