Summary: This episode starts out with Ink and Ark watching a horror movie in which it successfully scares them both causing Ink to hide under a pillow and Ark to erm… keep his eyes on the TV screen in shock. The next day, Ink once again gets targeted by her two friends as well as Sumi who is still madly in love with Nao. Sumi invites Nao to her summer home who also invites Ink and her two friends, as well as Nao’s sister despite Sumi not being exactly pleased with it. That night, Ink has another english session with Nao and they use the english phrase
- TV Stations get angry when deliveries are late.
Of course, she still spends most of the time fantasising over Nao and her spending time at the beach and ending in some kissing. After that, we are given a quick 5 second scene of the police officer chasing after that weird man. After that, we see Sumi packing for the trip as well as shocking Ka-Kun by shoving him in the bag.
On the morning of the trip, everyone meets infront of the school and wait for Sumi to pick them up. However, Sumi still hasnt woken up where her maid comes in, so after awhile about dreaming about food, the maid gets angry and whacks her and throws her into the car. When the limo gets there, she is still asleep.
Later on in the car, Sumi wakes up and attacks Ink. When they arrive there, they do not go to the beach but to the resort pool (I agree that the pool would be nicer). After Ink being scared of entering the pool and everyone doing their own thing, they retire for the day and have a very classy dinner. While heading to their rooms, Reimi and Rena come across a spirit in the corridor and go to tell Ink and Sumi.
In Nao and Eri’s room, Nao is almost asleep and Eri is being attacked by spirits, when she gets angry about it, she goes into a serious overdrive mode and dodges every other one while Nao is still sleeping. Ink and Sumi are in the bathhouse and they had to include a childhood scene of them two. Anyway, after all that, we see Ark has snuck into the bathhouse and tries to peek through the door. But alas, Ka-Kun is also spying through the door and they knock each other through the door. They both get attacked by the girls.
They both get called on to do some ghostbusting so they transform into their magical forms and go into the basement only to get attacked by flying pigs.
When they stop travelling down, they come across a room full of treasure, but it is booby trapped and they are about to be flattened by a spikey slab of concrete when the weird man (Who I have now found out his name is Dandy… what a weird name for him) attacks the boulder and breaks it into many pieces. He says the normal “Are you okay, Pretty Girl” and says the English Phrase
- Limited edition item reservations are one per person!
He once again flees when the police officer arrives (In the basement no less) and the police officer falls down a trap floor before to long. After looking around and stopping Ark from stealing the treasure, another door opens and inside is the maid drinking sake and talking to the ghost. She also seems to be able to see the real Ark althrough I am not sure if the vision was viewable to anyone else.
The weekend ends after that and they all head off home. Ink and Ark are once again scared of the same horror movie that they are watching again however, now the ghost is with them and also scared (Kinda reminds me of the scared nature of Sayo in Negima).
In the Moetan Channel, the following English phrase is mentioned:
- Even through I don’t want really inexpensive figures, I just buy them because they are cheap.
The ending also had a slight change, instead of Ink’s house, it was of Sumi’s house. This was much better as you could at least see her in these credits unlike the last one. The song is growing on me and I really find it a good song now.
Review: Once again, this episode was quite good, while the amount of fanservice did increase a bit, it still wasnt enough to overpower the episode. The storyline was really different from what I expected this episode to be about, I thought it would be a showdown between the two girls and their pets but instead they had a swimsuit/beach episode earlier then most animes would. I believe it is between this and Doujin Work for being my favourite anime this season.
