Since this blog was also supposed to be for manga, I decide to put up the names of some of the most promising mangas that I should be reading soon. I have either read previews or one or two books of the series and they are three thumbs up.
Manga 1: Hollow Fields [Source]
Little Lucy Snow was meant to be enjoying her first day at the nice elementary school in town; however a macabre twist of fate sees her enrolled instead at Miss Weaver’s Academy for the Scientifically Gifted and Ethically Unfettered–also known as Hollow Fields. Located on the outskirts of Nullsville and run by the insidious Engineers, the grim boarding school dedicates itself to raising the next generation of mad scientists and evil geniuses! Classes include Live Taxidermy, Cross-Species Body-Part Transplantation and Killer Robot Construction, and for her own survival Lucy has to master them quickly…the student with the lowest grades at the end of each school week is sent to the old windmill for detention–and so far, no child has ever returned!
Manga 2: Neconoclasm[Source]
Follow the adventures of more cat-eared cuties (and one cat-eared hunk) than you can shake a stick at in Neconoclasm–a super-cute and hilarious collection of 4-panel manga strips and full-page antics.
Manga 3: Rozen Maiden [Source]
Jun Sakurada has withdrawn from the outside world–friends, school, even his little sister, who loves him dearly and cares for him in their parents’ absence. To cope with the severity of his personal exile, Jun has taken to ordering products online and then returning them just before the grace period ends. But when a website instructs him to place an order for a beautifully rendered doll in his desk drawer, what arrives in the morning can’t be returned…
